A warrior peerless in his loyalty to The Great Khan, Shiban Khan is no stranger to self-sacrifice. Although some saw him as reckless, his great spirit was lauded by Jaghatai himself to the point that he was named Khan of the Brotherhood of the Storm.
After the Chondax campaign, Shiban Khan uncovered a dark truth within his own Legion, and is now ready to take arms to save the White Scars as the Horus Heresy changes the fate of the Imperium. Today, Shiban Khan joins the game as part of a new Battle Pass! Keep reading to learn how to unlock the newest White Scars Warlord.
The Tachseer
At the start of the Horus Heresy, the White Scars still had not learnt the whole truth of Horus’ betrayal. In a revolt, all information is untrustworthy. Hearsay, contradicting messages, and subjective statements do not create a solid ground to stand on if one is to decide whether to betray the Imperium or aim his blade at a brother’s throat. It was in this situation that elements of the White Scars that had been secretly loyal to Horus unveiled their plot to take control of the Legion’s fleet and join Horus. It was in this moment that Shiban Khan faced the betrayers and paid a hefty price to save his Legion.
A brother’s betrayal cuts deeper than the grievest of wounds, and Shiban Khan would meet both during the war. After uncovering this betrayal, Shiban fell victim to the vicious war of attrition, his mood embittered, and much of his body needed to be replaced with mechanical counterparts. His men started calling him “Tachseer” (the Restorer), as he took many of the loyal elements of rebellious brotherhoods under his own command. With them, Shiban would go on to become a pivotal part of the Eternity Wall space port during the Siege of Terra.
How to unlock the new Warlord
Shiban Khan will be available as a reward in BOTH tracks of this month’s battle pass. The regular Reward Track features Shiban Khan as its ultimate reward. Complete daily and seasonal missions to reap many bounties in your mission to recruit him, including in-game currency rewards, cards for your selected Preferred Army and new cosmetics!
Get the most out of your Battle Pass by purchasing the Premium Pass! The Premium Pass unlocks an ADDITIONAL REWARD TRACK, featuring Shiban Khan as its very first reward, allowing you to play with him immediately! The Premium Reward Track also includes other high-value rewards, such as Legendary Cards for your selected Preferred Army and exclusive cosmetics, including a new themed card back!
Upgrade your battle pass for exclusive perks
A Premium Pass lasts until the end of your account’s active reward track at the moment of purchase. Owners of a Premium Pass will have access to the following perks:
- ADDITIONAL reward track, including amazing rewards such as Shiban Khan, Legendary cards and exclusive cosmetics!
- Guaranteed Veteran Status for the duration of the Battle Pass
- One additional mission every day
Purchasing the Premium Pass also retroactively unlocks the rewards from the previous levels, so if a player has reached, for example, level 25 in their Battle Pass and then purchases the Premium Pass, they will immediately gain access to the additional Premium track rewards for the previous 25 levels.
After this Battle Pass ends, Shiban Khan will also start featuring in in-game shops and have a chance to appear inside White Scars and Beta-Garmon crates (when they become available).
