Once mentor to Lion El’Jonson himself, Luther returns to Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions as a new Warlord for the Dark Angels, bound by pride and the bitter embers of betrayal. Will you stand with him as he forges his own path on Caliban?
Master of Caliban
Before the Heresy tore brother from brother, Luther was renowned as one of the most gifted warriors and leaders of the Dark Angels. During his days on Caliban, he took a young Lion El’Jonson under his wing and helped him rise to the command of The Order. After the Emperor arrived on Caliban and The Lion left the planet as the master of the Dark Angels, Luther became his second in command and his most trusted advisor. But as the Great Crusade advanced, the gap between mentor and protégé grew, and a single instant of hesitation that threatened The Lion’s life changed the course of Caliban’s fate.
But this was not the first nor the last of Luther’s betrayals. Luther and a sizable number of Dark Angels were sent back to Caliban. Feeling hollow and forgotten, Luther forged a new order on his planet, one bound not by the Lion’s distant authority but by loyalty to Caliban and Luther himself. And then, as the Horus Heresy spread its shadow, so did Caliban. In the past, Luther took possession of obscure tomes, dark knowledge that should have remained buried. But now, such knowledge would pave the way to the future of Caliban.

Luther will be available as a reward in both tracks of this month’s Battle Pass. The regular Reward Track features Luther as its ultimate reward. Complete daily and seasonal missions to earn a wealth of rewards on your path to recruit him, including in-game currency, cards for your selected Preferred Army, and new Dark Angels-themed cosmetics!
Get the most out of your Battle Pass by purchasing the Premium Pass! The Premium Pass unlocks an additional reward track, featuring Luther as its very first reward, allowing you to play with him immediately! The Premium Reward Track also includes other high-value rewards such as Legendary Cards, exclusive cosmetics, and a new themed card back.
Upgrade your battle pass for exclusive perks
A Premium Pass lasts until the end of your account’s active reward track at the moment of purchase. Owners of a Premium Pass will have access to the following perks:
- ADDITIONAL reward track, including amazing rewards such as Luther, Legendary cards and exclusive cosmetics!
- Guaranteed Veteran Status for the duration of the Battle Pass
- One additional mission every day
Purchasing the Premium Pass also retroactively unlocks the rewards from the previous levels, so if a player has reached, for example, level 25 in their Battle Pass and then purchases the Premium Pass, they will immediately gain access to the additional Premium track rewards for the previous 25 levels.
