“The death of this planet gives life to the Omnissiah’s wrath.”
– Xel-Oreka

Every planet a field test, every battle a demonstration of their destructive prowess. The Mechanicum’s commitment to their craft is absolute, a fact that burns ever fiercer when their ingenuity is given free rein. When the Dark Mechanicum rose from the forges of Mars, the last barriers the Cult Mechanicus faced in their research ultimately disappeared, and the pursuit of knowledge was rewritten in fire and blood.

Among their most fanatical adepts stand the Myrmidon Destructors, who surrender their bodies to become living weapon platforms and enter the battlefield carrying the most destructive of weaponry. Now, Xel-Oreka, Myrmidon Destructor of Sarum, joins the battle as a new Dark Mechanicum Warlord, ready to showcase his aptitude in the science of slaughter. Keep reading to discover how to unlock the newest Warlord to enter the battlefield in Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions!

The Redjak Ravager

The isolated Forge World of Sarum was once invaded by a horde of Orks during the Great Crusade. To their aid came the 13th expeditionary fleet, led personally by Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters. Sarum’s own order of tech-adepts, the Redjak cult, bore witness to the brutal campaign that the Primarch launched and pledged their undying loyalty to the XIIth Legion.

Xel-Oreka took direct part in the Golgothan Slaughter, wanting to study and replicate the Legion’s brutality. When the Horus Heresy erupted, Sarum willingly declared for the Traitors’ cause and continued to supply and arm the World Eaters exclusively. Xel-Oreka would also go on to fight alongside the XIIth Legion, pushing his research to further extremes as the World Eaters furthered their servitude to a new master.
