As the dust settles on August’s season, a new Warmaster rises above the competition! Congratulations to them and those who fought their way to the top of the ranks! Before plunging into the new ranked season of Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions, let’s take a look at the numbers from the last month of competitive play in Low Terra (rating 2500-3800) and High Terra (rating 3800+). Keep reading to find out the biggest winners of August!

Low Terra
Ferrus Manus gets ahead on the ranks, taking the number one spot in Low Terra! There’s a Primarchal bout in the top spots this season, with Alpharius and Sanguinius rising to this season’s second and third ranks respectively. Gabriel Santar follows his father’s example and takes the fourth spot, preventing Lorgar from fulfilling his destiny as he stays in the fifth spot this season.
This season has been incredibly diverse in Low Terra. The Iron Hands have occupied many of the top spots, but other Warlords such as Raldoron and Aloceri have been able to reach great levels of success as well. Leman Russ, Meudson, Sevatar and Luther remain clear threats in the format, while other such as Sota-Nul manage to hold on and remain a relevant contender.

High Terra
The ranks of High Terra have been overtaken by so many threats, but Sanguinius flies above all to take the first spot of August’s season! Only one other Primarch stands with him in the top five, with Alpharius infiltrating into the second spot. Ravasch Cario cuts down the competition for the third rank, preventing the Infernus Abomination and Forgefather T’kell from ascending further in the ranks.
There can be no best deck in format when every deck is the best deck in format. This season a wide array of Warlords have found big success on the ladder. Even outside of the top 10, Warlords like Hvarl Redblade, Hibou Khan and Fafnir Rann have become major threats. Mirroring their results on Low Terra, Raldoron and Lord Cypher have also struck with a sharp blade… or loaded pistols, I suppose. Closing the whole rank, a shy Vynnsakar pokes his head with a very god Win Rate as well, will this be the beginning of his ascension?
