The cries of battle die out in the distance of September’s season, announcing that a new Warmaster has risen above the competition! Congratulations to them and those who fought their way to the top of the ranks! Before plunging into the new ranked season of Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions, let’s take a look at the numbers from the last month of competitive play in Low Terra (rating 2500-3800) and High Terra (rating 3800+). Keep reading to find out the biggest winners of August!

Low Terra
Sanguinius flies high in Low Terra, taking a lofty lead above his brothers in terms of Win Rate. The top 5 positions have become a brotherly quarrel, as Alpharius, Vulkan and Lorgar follow The Great Angel’s positions with pretty good results. The Use Rate gap between 4th and 5th place is quite wide this month, with Endryd Haar closing the top 5 with a 2.3% Use Rate, around half of the popularity of the Warlords above him.
Outside the top five, Lord Cypher posts the best number on the board at a blistering 64%, while Numeon and Shadrak Meduson both clock in at 61% with a similar Use Rate. Hibou Khan quietly rises through the ranks with a 60% Win Rate, while another cluster of contenders including Sevatar, Aloceri, and Ferrus Manus all hover at 59%. While the Blood Angels and Salamanders have taken much of the higher ranks, there is a wide variety of factions that have been able to find success

High Terra
There are many times in which the meta in High Terra differs much from Low Terra’s. It seems we are not in one of those times. Sanguinius conquers the highest echelons of Terra with massive popularity during this season, followed by Numeon, with more-than-massive win rates at 66%. Alpharius hangs in the top 5 with more modest results, followed by two astartes warriors that managed to conquer titanic results: Lord Cypher at 64% and Raldoron at 63%.
Beyond the top five, several low-usage heavy hitters shine. One stands as the greatest champion of Khorne for the first time, as Ar’gakhol Goreborn tops the chart at a blood-red 70%, while Corswain, Fafnir Rann, Hibou Khan and Aster Crohne all look like great options if built right at 64%, 63%, 62% and 62% respectively. It would appear that many Warlords can become new menaces in the upcoming season.
