A well-planned strike can make an arduous battle short, as the new factions have demonstrated, but no warrior can ever rely on the same ruse working twice. When your enemy adapts to your strategies, it’s time to think of another plan to shock their defences.
A new balance patch has been released, with adjustments to two recently released cards (Jenetia Krole and Euphrati Keeler) which were having a disproportionate impact in constructed play. The card Desperate Defence has also been reviewed, to cap its potential after a long period influencing the top tiers of ranked play. Additionally, Malcador and a few rarely used cards receive some buffs. Check out the details:
Imperial Army
- Desperate Defence: Reduced cost from 10 to 8, now puts one troop in play instead of two.
- Crucial Choice: Increased cost to 2, changed description to ‘Choose one Legendary Tactic and add it to your hand’.
- Dracosan Transport: Change description to ‘(1) Create a Lasrifle Section in your hand. It costs 2 less’.
- Ravaged City: Lower cost from 3 to 1
Sisters of Silence
- Jenetia Krole: Lowered bonus of battle honour from +2/+1 to +1/+1.
Agents of the Sigillite
- Malcador: Lowered ability cost to from 1 to 0, and lowered cost of reckoning from 15 to 14.
- Euphrati Keeler: Changed ability so that only adjacent troops receive Front Line, but not the warlord.
