Community Spotlight


We are right in the midst of the season and, whether you are a roughed-up veteran, a new recruit, a casual or a more dedicated player, you’re probably clawing your way up the ranking, supporting your Legion in the current event or dueling your friends and lodge-mates. However, did you know there are more ways to play the game?

The community has been nothing but amazing ever since the game’s launch and, for a long time now, there have been exciting community-run events with their fair share of rewards. If you want to know in advance when these events will happen, check out the event calendar here!

Weekly tournament

The VK community celebrates its 100th weekly tournament this very weekend! To mark the occasion the rewards will be more tempting than ever, so make sure to check the tournament page here!

Weekly Discord tournament

The Discord community has also been doing weekly tournaments for a long time, so check the tournament page. Stay tuned to the #weekly-tournament channel on Discord and the event calendar to know when future tournaments will happen.

Subreddit tournament

The Horus Heresy: Legions subreddit just ran its first tournament last week, starting off with a ruleset aimed at beginners. Join the community on Reddit to learn when the next one will happen!

The Crucible

A new edition of The Crucible has started! Get on Discord and check the #the-crucible channel to challenge ridiculously overpowered warlords. Be among the first ones to beat one to get some handsome rewards!

Deck list contest

There’s still time to enter Skuff D’s July deck list contest. This month’s theme is “Prospero”, so dust off your books and novels to create a deck that manages to reflect the events that transpired on the planet. Also, check out Skuff D’s video revealing the winner of last month’s contest, themed around apothecaries!
