As the fires of the Horus Heresy reach their zenith, the VIIth Legion stands resolute. The Imperial Fists join Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions as a new faction in the Echoes of Eternity expansion, ready to hold the line against the darkness. The new faction becomes collectable on the 20th of March at around 12 pm UTC, bringing with them new warlords, mechanics, and a playstyle forged in the crucible of siege warfare.
New keyword: Sentry
With powerful defensive tools, punishing mechanics, and an identity rooted in discipline and control, the VIIth Legion offers a playstyle that rewards patience, planning, and unbreakable resolve. In addition to their old mechanics (like Bastion), the Imperial Fists introduce a new mechanic born of their defensive mastery:
- Sentry X: If this unit is attacked, deal X damage to the attacker before the attack is resolved
Units with Sentry punish reckless aggression, turning every attack into a calculated risk for your opponent. In the hands of a skilled commander, even the smallest defensive line can become an insurmountable wall.
Imperial Fists Warlords
Masters of fortification and defense, the Imperial Fists are defined by their unwavering discipline and their duty as the Emperor’s shield. Where others falter, they endure. Where others break, they stand firm. In this expansion, three iconic characters will lead the forces of the VIIth:
- Rogal Dorn: A being of thunderous zeal and stone made manifest, Rogal Dorn believes in his father’s dream for the Imperium without reservation.
- Sigismund: Sigismund’s unparalleled lethality and ability as a warrior brought him to command the Templars of the First Company.
- Evander Garrius: Garrius rejoiced when his Primarch called on him to retake Cthonia, vowing that he would be moved from that forsaken world only by the hand of Dorn himself.

How to start collecting them
There are many ways to collect Imperial Fists cards, especially during the first weeks after their release! Take a look at them:
- Imperial Fists faction crates contain 5 random cards, 3 of them guaranteed from the NEW Imperial Fists collection, including a rare card or better, and the other 2 from all cards released since the Shadow of the Warmaster expansion.
- Get AMAZING VALUE with a time-limited bundle containing Evander Garrius, 15 Imperial Fists crates and an exclusive premium avatar, available during the faction’s release week.
- Take advantage of the current and upcoming Battle Pass! Select the Imperial Fists as your preferred faction AFTER THE FACTION IS RELEASED and start collecting them through card rewards. - Play the new event and defend Terra as the Imperial Fists against the traitor forces ! Each reward crate in the event has at least 1 of the new faction’s cards.

Test the new faction in a timed event! The traitors organize an all-out strike, intent on putting an end to the war, as Terra’s defenders prepare to make their last stand before them led by Rogal Dorn and the Imperial Fists.
Remember to complete the guaranteed “Win 3 matches” daily mission to unlock a free event run every day and kickstart your Imperial Fists collection. Every reward crate in the event contains at least 1 of the new cards!
