“Within the shadows, there is hope.”

– Gherith Arendi

The outcome of the Siege of Terra was not decided only by the troops fighting in the forefront of it. Many other factors swayed the tides of battle, like the strategic hits and missions against each side’s key supply chains.

The remaining six Legions receive reinforcements!

After the events that transpired on Isstvan V, not every Legion was in full capacity to fight the hordes of Chaos under Horus’ banner. The Raven Guard, the Iron Hands and the Salamanders had to take a step back from the front lines and focus on smaller missions hitting strategic points in the Warmaster’s army.

Meanwhile, the Alpha Legion, the Night Lords and the Word Bearers travelled far and wide across the Galaxy wreaking havoc among the loyalist lines via secret plots, furtive assaults and summoning forces from the inmaterium. The third wave of the Galaxy in Flames expansion broadens the collections of these six Legions with new missions and tools to fulfil them

Reinforcing the lines of the loyalist Legions, three new Warlords join the collection:

  • Gherith Arendi: A veteran of the Raven Guard who became the first commander of the Black Guard.
  • Kardozia: Iron Father Dreadnought who spent years harrasing the traitors’ supply lines.
  • Nomus Rhy’tan: Lord Chaplain of the Salamanders who oversaw the Legion’s neophytes on Nocturne.

HOW TO COLLECT THE NEW CARDS

  • Each reward crate in the ‘Behind Enemy Lines’ event has at least 1 Third Wave card.
  • ‘Galaxy in Flames III’ crates in the shop have at least 3 cards from this Third Wave, with at least 1 of them being rare or better.
  • A constructed deck in the shop, with Gherith Arendi as warlord and the legendary Sons of the Shadows mission card. Any duplicates you receive are converted into gems.
  • Cards for sale with gems in the Daily Shop.
  • VIP subscribers will find 1 guaranteed Third Wave card in their Daily Mission crate during the ‘Behind Enemy Lines’ event.

NEW EVENT: ‘Behind Enemy Lines’

The third event of the Galaxy in Flames expansion introduces the new warlords and cards as both loyalists and traitors strike strategic points of the other side’s supply chain. Will you stand for the Emperor and join the Legions that were wronged on Isstvan V, or command the turncoat Legions and fight for the Warmaster?

WHAT’S NEXT?

The new event begins today! Choose from an assortment of loyalist defenders or attackers, including the new loyalist warlords, and conquer those who stand against you!

One more batches of cards awaits to be released for this expansion two weeks from now on January 7th, including the new neutral cards of the expansion.

Terra and the galaxy are in turmoil and flames. Will you stoke the fires of war, or seek to extinguish the chaos that have caused it?
