“One more offering for the Blood God!”

In battle, warriors must adapt and adjust their strategies to keep the blood flowing. This month’s balance update will bring significant adjustments to the World Eaters, including a change to Kharn’s special card. This update also slightly tweaks the passive ability of Vettranio Shapura. Though this Warlord performed averagely during internal testing and his draft matches, he has clearly shined through deckbuilding. We will be overseeing his progress to determine whether he needs more changes, and we are currently taking steps to reduce the risk of this ever happening again. Take a look at all the changes below.

World Eaters
- Eightfold Path (Khârn’s Special): Cost lowered from 3 to 2. Description changed to “Give a Mark of Chaos to your World Eaters troops. Return to your hand and costs 1 more, up to 8.”
- Malgar Squad: Ability cost lowered from 1 to 0.
- Flamma Command: Attack lowered from 3 to 2. Description changed to “Flank. Savage: Give +2/0 to your units this turn.”
- Devourers Squad: Description changed to “Rally: Your Warlord gains +1/0 and Invulnerable this turn.”
- Praetor-Apothecary Kalibos: Health increased from 5 to 6.
- Captain Aggravax: Health increased from 7 to 8.
- The Devoured: Attack increased from 8 to 9.
- Redclaw Thunderhawk: Cost lowered from 3 to 2.
Night Lords
- Prey Sight: Cost increased from 1 to 2.
- Ancient Drachos: Attack lowered from 9 to 8.
Blackshields
- Plundered Outpost: Cost increased from 4 to 5.
Mechanicum
- Vultarax Assault: Cost lowered from 4 to 3. Description changed to “Deal 1 damage to all troops, twice”
Legio Custodes
- Vettranio Shapura: Passive changed to “Exemplar: Gains Shield this turn.” (Instead of permanent Shield.)
