The Dark Angels join Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions as the first new faction of the Crusade expansion, bringing their skills in the art of war as a renewed faction! The new faction becomes collectable on November 13th at around 12 pm UTC, featuring striking new art, devastating tactics and a unique approach to warcraft that embodies the First Legion. Will you raise your blade and uphold the honour of Caliban’s sons?
New Keyword: Synergy
When Lion El’Jonson was granted command of his Legion, one of his first tasks was to merge the best of the Hexagrammaton and Caliban’s teachings. Thus, the Hexagrammaton and the six Hosts of the Dark Angels were adapted to better fit the calibanite way of war, and their six Wings were born. The Dark Angels troops of Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions can belong to one of three of these Wings: the Dreadwing, the Deathwing or the Ravenwing.
Troops with Synergy, the Dark Angels’ new mechanic, trigger additional effects when played if you cantrol a troop that belongs to a different Wing than the troop being played. Master the organisational intricacies of the Dark Angels and outvalue your opponents by deploying all three wings and getting the most value out of their powerful Synergies!
Dark Angels warlords
The First Legion has long produced warriors of unmatched skill and conviction. Three of their most storied champions will lead them into the fray in Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions. Prepare to lead the Dark Angels into battle as:
- Marduk Sedras: Veteran of the Unification Wars who refused joining the Council of Masters to remain on the field.
- Corswain: The exemplar of his Legion’s qualities, he commands the respect of all with his disciplined authority and supreme mastery of the blade.
- Lion El’Jonson: Raised on Caliban, The Lion became a ruthlessly efficient Primarch, tasked with rooting out those threats which the Imperium most fears.

How to start collecting them
There are many ways to collect Dark Angels cards, especially during the first weeks after their release! Take a look at them:
- Today is the last day to charge into the Webshop and get the Dark Angels pre-sale bundles! Check out the details here.
- Dark Angels faction crates contain 5 random cards, 3 of them guaranteed from the NEW Dark Angels collection, including a rare card or better, and the other 2 from all cards released since the Shadow of the Warmaster expansion.
- Get AMAZING VALUE with a time-limited bundle containing Marduk Sedras, 15 Dark Angels crates and an exclusive premium avatar, available during the faction’s release weekend.

New event: Battle of Zepath
Test the new faction in a timed event focused on its struggles against the Warmaster’s forces, right after the Dark Angels pursue the traitors during the Shadow Crusade! During the closing stages of the Shadow Crusade, the Invincible Reason arrives to Ultramar to deliver a final blow to the traitors. Will this end the wanton destruction of the Five Hundred Worlds?
Remember to complete the guaranteed “Win 3 matches” daily mission to unlock a free event run every day and kickstart your Dark Angels collection. Every reward crate in the event contains at least 1 of the new cards!
