“Knowledge bows before nothing.”

– Sota-Nul

After a month of conquering the ladder, some of the new deck archetypes introduced in the Shadow of the Warmaster expansion have proven to be too dominant. Not only that, some old horrors have risen again to take the competitive scene by storm.

This balance update aims to slow down the strategies that have proven most dominant during the latter seasons, giving slower decks a higher chance to compete. Take a look at the complete list of changes below:

Innate Brilliance: Change description to ‘Reduce the cost of all troops in your hand by 1 this turn’
Galewind Strike: Lower initial damage to 1-2 instead of 2

WORD BEARERS

Raum: Change description to ‘Unstoppable. Battle Honour: Heal 1’ (instead of healing 2)
Ashen Circle: Lower Attack from 5 to 4
Book of Lorgar: Increase Cost from 3 to 4

WORLD EATERS

● Black Blade: Change description to ‘Your Warlord gains “Savage: Your units gain +1/0″‘

LOYALIST LEGIOS

TRAITOR LEGIOS

Powerfist: Lower Attack from 3 to 2

CHAOS

Khorne’s Favour: Change description to ‘Your Warlord gains +2/0 this turn and attacks by itself once’
