“In the name of the Emperor, death.”

– Constantin Valdor, Captain-General of the Legio Custodes

For the first time in The Horus Heresy: Legions, a non-Astartes Faction makes its debut! The Legio Custodes stand ready to defend Terra and beyond. Devoted to the Emperor with the full might and resources of the Imperium to support them, their duty only ends in death, and the Legiones Astartes will find they are facing a superior class of warrior that won’t go down easily– or at all.

New Faction: Legio Custodes
The Legio Custodes have arrived! Led by Captain-General Constatin Valdor, a contingent of Emperor’s Custodians has left Terra behind to censure the Thousand Sons in Prospero. The Legio Custodes showcase a balance between overwhelming power and their duty as the Emperor’s last line of defence: First Strike allows a Custodes to avoid retaliation on killing blows when attacking, while troops with Sentinel bring high stats and powerful abilities but negate card draw at the start of your turn.

New Event: Censure
The Legio Custodes land on Prospero to purge the sorcerous Thousand Sons in a new event: Censure. Play them both and witness the clash between the Emperor’s Custodians and the Red Sorcerers! It’s time to purge the foes of the the Imperium!

Three collectable Warlords are coming to join the Emperor’s censure host first:

● Arascid Nassau: A master of the Guardian Spear clad in black auramite, brought to Prospero from the depths of the Vaults of Rython below the Imperial Palace.
● Vetranio Shapura: His untimely death while defending the Emperor during the Great Crusade earned Shapura the glory of being interred in a Contemptor-Galatus Dreadnought armour.
● Constantin Valdor: The First Custodian and Captain-General of the Legio Custodes. Rumoured to be as powerful as a Primarch and loyal to the Emperor since before the Imperium was born.
May the light of the Emperor blind their foes!
