Reinforcements arrive for the neutral factions
The final content batch of the Shadows of the Warmaster is here, this is your chance to collect the new cards with expansion crates! The forces of the Imperial Army, the Mechanicum and the hordes of Chaos join the Legiones Astartes on the battlefield, wreaking havoc against the enemies of the Warmaster or standing tall to protect Terra. All three neutral factions receive new troops and tactics, available not only to them but to all of the game’s factions to complete their deck’s strategies.
New expansion crates
With the final major card drop of the expansion making its way into the game, there are now many ways to collect the new cards! Take a look:
- The NEW Shadow of the Warmaster expansion crates contain 5 cards from the Shadow of the Warmaster expansion, at least one of them rare or better.
- Get amazing VALUE with a time-limited bundle containing Balthazzar Dupain, 25 Shadow of the Warmaster crates and an exclusive premium Dupain cosmetic avatar, available from shortly after the new release until 9 AM UTC on 17th April.

- Play the event and fill your collection! Each reward crate in the new ‘Fire in the Trenches’ event has at least 1 Shadow of the Warmaster card.
- Check out the Daily shop! Every day there will be new cards for sale with gems for a limited time. Keep your eyes open!
New neutral Warlords
Following Horus into battle, two new Warlords join the Imperial Army and Mechanicum neutral factions, ready to slay Terra’s defenders in the name of the Warmaster. Take a look at the new characters joining the game:
- Balthazzar Dupain: Ruthless commander of the Cthonian Headhunters, with a distinguished record fighting alongside the Warmaster’s 63rd Expedition Fleet.
- Sota-Nul: Ambassador of the Dark Mechanicum and leader of their forces during the Siege of Terra.

New event: “Fire in the Trenches”
In the middle of immense engines of war and the many clashes of the Emperor’s sons, the Imperial Army faced the tides of Chaos followers that attempted to invade Terra. Their battle might have been shadowed, but any victory could tip the scales.
Test the newest additions to the neutral cardpool in the new event, Fire in the Trenches. Choose a Warlord from the Imperial Army, Mechanicum or Chaos factions and draft your way to victory to fill your collection! Every event reward crate will contain at least one card from the new Shadow of the Warmaster expansion. Remember to complete the guaranteed “Win 3 games” daily mission to earn a free event entry!
