The Salamanders were grievously scarred in the opening days of the Horus Heresy. At Isstvan V, their Primarch was allegedly struck down and their Legion broken, leaving only scattered survivors to carry on Vulkan’s legacy. As the Legion’s life flickered, one Praetor sought not only to endure—but to rise from the ashes to sear the traitors away from the galaxy.
Willing to sacrifice anything to claim the justice his Legion deserved, Amfell Shenn requested to don the experimental Saturnine armour pattern. And you can do it as well today as he joins the game in a new Battle Pass! Keep reading to learn how to unlock him.
The Saturnine Flame
Shenn’s wounds ran deeper than flesh. Wracked with fury and driven by vengeance, he returned to Nocturne intent on rallying his brothers for a campaign of retribution. However, while the flames of a ritual pyre lashed the air before his eyes, the teachings of Vulkan rekindled within him. At the forge, each hammer strike tempered not only steel but also his rage, shaping it into resolve. In that moment, his path was set: if he was to carry on his Primarch’s Legacy, he would seek out the traitors not for vengeance, but for justice.
Amfell Shenn offered himself as a volunteer to further test the experimental Saturnine armour in the crucible of battle. Wielding flame and steel, he mustered the Legion to turn the traitors to ashes, to punish those who broke their oaths and wronged their brothers. Always standing in the front lines, merciless, he became a beacon for the scattered Salamanders, a reminder that when it is darkest, the flame burns brightest.
How to unlock the new Warlord
Amfell Shenn will be available as a reward in BOTH tracks of this month’s battle pass. The regular Reward Track features Amfell Shenn as its ultimate reward. Complete daily and seasonal missions to reap many bounties in your mission to recruit him, including in-game currency rewards, cards for your selected Preferred Army and new cosmetics!
Get the most out of your Battle Pass by purchasing the Premium Pass! The Premium Pass unlocks an ADDITIONAL REWARD TRACK, featuring Amfell Shenn as its very first reward, allowing you to play with him immediately! The Premium Reward Track also includes other high-value rewards, such as Legendary Cards for your selected Preferred Army and exclusive cosmetics, including a new themed card back!
Upgrade your battle pass for exclusive perks
A Premium Pass lasts until the end of your account’s active reward track at the moment of purchase. Owners of a Premium Pass will have access to the following perks:
- ADDITIONAL reward track, including amazing rewards such as Amfell Shenn, Legendary cards and exclusive cosmetics!
- Guaranteed Veteran Status for the duration of the Battle Pass
- One additional mission every day
Purchasing the Premium Pass also retroactively unlocks the rewards from the previous levels, so if a player has reached, for example, level 25 in their Battle Pass and then purchases the Premium Pass, they will immediately gain access to the additional Premium track rewards for the previous 25 levels.
