April has come and gone, and a new Warmaster has taken the title! Congratulations to them and those who fought their way to the top of the ranks! Before plunging into the new ranked season of Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions, let’s take a look at the numbers from the last month of competitive play in Low Terra (rating 2500-3800) and High Terra (rating 3800+). Keep reading to find out the biggest winners of April!

Low Terra
Khorne has demanded the harvest of skulls in Low Terra during this season, and his followers have certainly abided! Dreagher and Angron take the World Eaters to the top of the ranks with a fantastic performance, followed by a trio of Primarchs. Alpharius, Lorgar and Curze close the top 5 with fairly similar use rates, albeit Curze remains on top in Low Terra with a much greater win rate than his brothers.
Shapura and Hathor Maat have remained big contenders during the last month, although much less popular than in High Terra. Other old-favourites such as Luther, Leman Russ and Hvarl Redblade have also made a splash during this season. Will next season be the resurgence of either Caliban’s finest or the Wolves of Fenris? Only time will tell.

High Terra
In a season characterised by big-hitters, Alpharius has sneaked right to the top of the ranks! His great performance is followed by the two biggest win rates High Terra’s top 5 has seen in a while. Vettranio Shapura and Corswain have become the decks to beat in one of the most contested seasons of the past year. Following them, Dreagher and Curze make another appearance in this meta report to close the top 5 with another great performance.
Many of the Warlords that have found success in Low Terra have repeated this success in High Terra, although in the highest levels of the ranked ladder, some have found a higher win rate. Such is the case for Forgefather T’Kell and Hellas Sycar, who did not even make it into Low Terra’s ranking, yet they managed to score wonderfully in High Terra. The Infernus Abomination has also jumped in use during the last month, commanding the forces of Chaos to big wins!
