October’s season is now over, and a new Warmaster has taken the title! Congratulations to them and those who fought their way to the top of the ranks! Before plunging into the new ranked season of Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions, let’s take a look at the numbers from the last month of competitive play in Low Terra (rating 2500-3800) and High Terra (rating 3800+). Keep reading to find out the biggest winners of October!

Low Terra

In Low Terra, the Raven Guard has taken advantage of their latest buffs to take a clean cut through their enemies! Corvus Corax has taken the first spot, while the ever-present Alpharius becomes second in line. The greatest Win Rate among the Primarchs falls on Lorgar though, converting 58% of his matches into victories in Low Terra. Agapito Nev doesn’t fall too far away from his Primarch and reaches the fourth spot, while Sanguinius closes the top 5 with a very respectable performance during this season.

However, not only to the popular go the spoils. Outside the top five, several picks simply scream value. Lord Cypher leads the sleepers with a 62% Win Rate, while Rogal Dorn, Kor Phaeron, Sevatar, and Aloceri all sit at 59% and are seeing modest play. Raldoron and Shadrak Meduson both strike 60% on low picks, and a cluster of resourceful warlords such as Leman Russ, Ferrus Manus, Argel Tal, Kaeria Casryn, and Angron all hover from 57–58%, indicating a wide band of highly effective options available in the current meta.

High Terra

The Raven Guard’s performance in High Terra sings a slightly different tune. A victorious one indeed, but this time with Agapito Nev as the Legion’s champion! Alpharius repeats his success in Low Terra, taking the second spot once again. Many of the rest of the Warlords in the top positions of the highest echelons of Terra have achieved some of the highest win rates we have seen in a while. Lord Cypher, Corswain and Raldoron close the top 5 with rates that hover the 65%, but they’re not alone.

Other Warlords such as Fafnir Rann and Kaeria Casryn have also been incredibly successful this season. Other less popular options include Ebos Theonoi, the Lord of the Flies, Aeonid Thiel or Shadrak Meduson, all of which have surpassed the 60% win rate. One of the most recent contenders to join the game, the new Targutai Yesugei, is also showing great promise. Will next season see him become a breakout Warlord?
