The tides of battle are ever changing! This month’s balance update will bring significant adjustments to the Death Guard, including a new special card for Ignatius Grulgor. More importantly, Serob Kargul’s ability has also been slightly toned down after a very dominant week one performance. The Dark Servants from Chaos and Nassir Amit from the Blood Angels also see an adjustment after the latest meta report. Read on to see the changes making it into the game soon!


Death Guard

  • Serob Kargul: Ability changed to “(1) Give 0/+1 and Poisonous 1 to a friendly troop” (instead of 0/+2)
  • Ignatius Grulgor: Now has a special card (Blessings of the Plague).
  • Blessings of the Plague (Ignatius Grulgor’s special): Cost set to 6. Effect changed to “Give a Mark of Chaos to your non-Daemon troops. Lower cost by 1 when an enemy dies from Poison damage.”
  • Legionary Nergul: Stats changed from 3/2 to 2/3.
  • Apothecary Burcu: Ability cost lowered from 1 to 0.
  • Anathax Squad: Health increased from 5 to 6.
  • Mortarion’s Favoured: Description changed to “Front Line. Rally: Create two random Death Guard troops with Backlash in your hand. They cost 1 less.”
  • Tombkeeper: Now has Front Line.
  • Gift of Fortitude: Cost lowered from 3 to 2.
  • Sickening Resilience: Description changed to “Give +1/+5, Poisonous 1, and Front Line to a friendly troop.” (Instead of just +1/+5 and Front Line.)

Chaos

  • Dark Servants: Cost increased from 3 to 4.

Blood Angels

  • Nassir Amit: Initiative lowered from High to Medium.
