“If you have ever wondered how you will die, now you know.”
– Sanguinius
Get ready to command the Blood Angels, White Scars and a resurgent faction when they join the game in the new Beta-Garmon expansion, releasing on May 8th. The new expansion brings Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions to one of the direst struggles of Horus’ revolt, so get ready to fight in some of the fiercest battles seen in the game!
The release of Beta-Garmon expansion will also make the Malevolence expansion Legacy-exclusive, and the Daemons of the Ruinstorm faction will only be playable in Legacy mode. Keep reading to learn more.

Of blood and flames
Swiftly, the shadow of Horus’ betrayal enveloped the galaxy, the initial actos of fratricide committed at Isstvan III becoming a pall of darkness that spread throughout the Imperium. No place was spared the onset of apocalyptic destruction, and ever since the Heresy began, the Eye of Horus placed its gaze on the Beta-Garmon cluster.
013. M31
Sanguinius and Jaghatai Khan are tasked with rallying the Loyalist defenders of the Garmon Cluster, dispatching them at the head of a host of Space Marine Legionaries and Solar Auxilia. The assembled might of the White Scars and the Blood Angels translated from the Warp within the borders of the Garmon Cluster to little fanfare. In any other age, the spectacle of such a gathering would be sufficient to bring an entire sub-sector of space to a standstill, but now, the coming of two Primarchs was overshadowed by the dire situation and immensity of the battles already underway.

Angels of hope and fury
The Great Angel’s arrival was heralded as a ray of light breaking through dark storm clouds. Sanguinius and his Blood Angels brought hope and compassion, personally comforting wounded soldiers despite their broken state and dwindling supplies and rallying the loyalist forces against the betrayers.
On May 8th, Sanguinius will join Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions like never before, together with 2 of the most iconic Blood Angels of the Heresy and a new host of troops and tactics.

Riders of Chogoris
In contrast to Sanguinius, Jaghatai focused on pursuing war deeper into the cluster. The Khan led his White Scars to engage and disrupt the enemy’s forces. He had been asked to seek out the enemy and harry them wherever they were to keep the Warmaster’s forces fragmented.
Later during the expansion, Jaghatai Khan and his White Scars hastily enter the fight. The sounds of jetbikes and eerie laughter will take over the battlefield.
The Ruinstorm subsides
As has been the case since Shadow of the Warmaster, the introduction of a new expansion will render a classic expansion’s cards exclusive to Legacy mode. When the Beta-Garmon expansion launches, the Malevolence expansion will become playable only in Legacy mode. This means the Blood Angels, Daemons of the Ruinstorm and White Scars and Neutral cards included in this expansion will not be available for Standard play.
The Daemons of the Ruinstorm faction will not be available for Standard play in the foreseeable future, but players will still be able to unleash the terrors of Signus upon the battlefields of Legacy mode, commanding their hordes as iconic daemons such as Ka’Bandha and Samus.

An unforeseen ally
The Blood Angels and White Scars will not be alone in Beta-Garmon. A new faction will join the battles of Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions, led by three fan-favourite characters returning to fight against the Warmaster. Stay tuned for more details!
The Beta-Garmon expansion is coming into the game on May 8th. Get ready to take supreme command of the Imperial forces against the betrayers and carve a bloody path through the Great Slaughter!
The Horus Heresy: Legions is available on Steam, iOS and Android.
