However, the fires of battle are fickle and everchanging. This month, the new Word Bearers and the Neutral factions are seeing some of their cards tuned down, while the Avenging Son rises up, ready for his next bout. Check out the full list of changes that will soon make their way into the game below.
WORD BEARERS
- Lorgar: Ability changed to ‘Give Daemonhost to adjacent Astartes. If you don’t control any, put in play a Caeroth Squad’ (instead of ALL friendly Astartes)
- Whispers: Cost increased from 22 to 24
- Demnos Squad: Description changed to ‘Rally: Gains +1/+1 for each Offering you have’ (no longer has Ward)
- Caeroth Squad: Rally removed
- Master of Faith: Cost increased from 6 to 7
- Legionary Mairon: Health decreased from 4 to 3
ULTRAMARINES
- Avenging Son: Ability changed to ‘(3) Draw a card. It costs 5 less. Can act again’
- Reckoning: Description changed to ‘Your Warlord becomes Avenging Son. Put in play a Suzerain Tyvus. Cost is equal to your Health’
IMPERIAL ARMY
- Callidus Assassin: Warlord pool changed to ‘Ocram Adraan, Obryk of Lochos, Fel Zharost, Hierophant, Imperial Army Sergeant, Israfael, Harle Squad and Kheron Ophion’
- Desolated Ground: Cost increased from 4 to 5
MECHANICUM
- Kiarii Thanatar-Cavas: No longer has Shield
- Drilling Site: Change description to: ‘Refill 2 Energy’
- Forge Master: Lower attack from 6 to 4
