“Bah! I’ve seen Cthonian recruits do better than that!”
– Balthazzar Dupain
September is over, giving way to a new competitive season! A new Warmaster has taken its predecessor’s mantle, and now it’s time to take a look at the numbers from last month’s season and check how the rankings in High Terra (rating 3800+) and Low Terra (rating 2500-3800) have evolved.
Low Terra
Alpharius leads Low Terra with a 54% win rate, climbing from last month’s fifth position. Close behind is Horus with 57%, while Leman Russ claims the third spot with an impressive 59%. Konrad Curze and Dreagher round out the top five, both showcasing strong performances with 57% and 55% win rates, respectively.
Hvarl Redblade and Tybalt Marr also demonstrate high success despite not making the top five, with Hvarl boasting a 61% win rate. Further down the ranks, we can see other hard-hitting Warlords from other seasons also making strives to climb the ranks. Lucretia, Luther, Hathor Maat, Saul Niborran, Sevatar and the Callidus Assassin could all take the stage next month. Will you aid them in their mission?

High Terra
Balthazzar Dupain takes the crown in High Terra with a commanding 58% win rate! Hvarl Redblade mirrors the despot’s success here, again with 58%. In the third place, Leman Russ becomes the first Primarch in this month’s top 5, followed by Amon Tauromachian. Notably, Curze has not seen that much success this season, yet he has remained a popular choice among players.
The Callidus Assassin once again impresses outside the top 5 with a remarkable 63% win rate, suggesting a growing threat in the High Terra meta. Caecaltus Dusk and Jenetia Krole have also been highly successful this season. The same could be said for Iota and Ar’gakhol the Goreborn, although these last two have not been as popular this month.

As a whole, the data shows a pretty balanced season, with no Warlord becoming overly popular this month and many different factions having viable strategies to make their way to the top of the ranks. The data still shows some worryingly high Win Rates, and we will keep monitoring the situation to see how it develops. A new season has already started, will you lead an old favourite faction to the top of the leaderboard or will you freshen up your gameplay with a new deck? Be ready to adapt, and may your strategies prevail!
