The month of June is now over, and all of the new Legions of the Beta-Garmon expansion performed their duties during its competitive season. A new Warmaster has taken the title, and all of the main content from the expansion is now available! Congratulations to them and those who fought their way to the top of the ranks! A new competitive season is already on the go, but let’s take a look at the numbers from the last month before plunging into it. Keep reading to find out the biggest winners of May in Low Terra (rating 2500-3800) and High Terra (rating 3800+).

Low Terra
This month’s Low Terra ladder saw Sanguinius soar as the preferred Warlord, with a very solid 56% win rate. Close behind were his brothers Alpharius and Rogal Dorn, who have battled for second place as if they were in Pluto, with Alpharius having the upper hand in the end. The Shattered Legions position very favourably this season, with Atesh Tarsa leading them into fourth place and Shadrak Meduson turning heads with a very powerful 63% win rate, making him the deadliest option among popular choices.
Several mid- and low-use Warlords have also shown excellent win rates, hinting at strong counterplay available to players willing to stray a little from the meta. Dreagher, Sigismund, Ravasch Cario and Leman Russ have all performed admirably this season, making them potential sleeper hits going into the next one. As the meta continues to broaden, only time will tell if these dark horses will remain relevant.

High Terra
High Terra this month has been dominated by a resounding performance from Shadrak Meduson, who not only topped the usage charts with a massive 14% pick rate but backed it up with an extraordinary 68% win rate. With the Warleader as the clear Warlord to beat, Sanguinius and Rogal Dorn conquer high spots, the latter gaining traction after last month’s balance update. Closing the top 5 with major win rates, Ravash Cario and Jaghatai Khan take the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
In general, the White Scars have found a much higher success rate in High Terra, so perhaps this tech will spread to Low Terra before the meta adapts to them. Beyond the spotlight, Nassir Amit and the Lord of the Flies have shown top-tier efficiency with win rates of 65% and 67% respectively. Corswain and Hvarl Redblade have also become quite consistent in their performance, even if they are not the most popular Warlords.
