Balance update: The Sigillite sets its gaze on a new target

As the Warmaster made its way towards Terra, there was no shortage of attempts to delay or outright stop his revolt from mankind’s homeworld. Every modicum of time was vital to prepare Terra for the incoming assault, and though Horus was successful in reaching the planet in the end, the conclusion of the story might have been much different were it not for Malcador’s schemes.

In this update, which will come into the game on July 4th, the Agents of the Sigillite receive a new update to bring them in line with the more modern factions and design. As you could see in the latest meta report, the Shattered Legions also made quite an early impression during their first full season. This update will also focus on tweaking some of the Shattered Legions’ outliers, including Shadrak Meduson. Take a look at the full list of changes below.

Shattered Legions

• Shadrak Meduson: Changed description to “Your first Tactic each turn costs 1 less”
• Xavus Konn: Changed description to “Survivor 1. Sacrifice: Create 2 random Artifacts in your hand. They cost 1 less” (now reduces cost instead of setting it)
• Garran Torvig: Lowered Health from 4 to 3
• Orlos Squad: Lowered attack from 3 to 2
• Leotrak Pre’Tir: Changed description to “Survivor 2. Expertise: Give +1/+1 to friendly troops” (instead of +2/+1)
• Master Armourer: Increased cost from 1 to 2
• Scions of the Flame: Increased cost from 3 to 4

White Scars

• Tails of the Dragon: Increased cost from 5 to 6

Mechanicum

• Factory Overdrive: Increased cost from 3 to 4

Agents of the Sigillite

• Administratum’s Archives: Lowered ability cost from 2 to 1
• Euphrati Keeler: Increased Health from 4 to 5
• Ganimus: Increased Attack from 4 to 5
• Kyril Sindermann: Changed ability to “(0) Choose a Seal and create a copy of it in your deck. Draw a card”
• The Nemean: Changed description to “Rally: Choose one: Draw a Tactic from your deck, or Create two random Seals in your deck”
• Knight Varren: Lower stats from 9/10 to 8/8 and change description to: ‘Blood Thirst. -1 cost when you create a Seal in your deck’
• New Loyalty: Changed description to “Choose a troop in the enemy deck and create a copy of it in your hand. It costs 1 less”
• The Cursed Wanderer: Changed description to “Your Warlord gains Survivor 8. Draw a Seal from your deck.”
