I am the Eightfold path.Captain Khârn
January has ended, a new Warmaster has taken the title and there’s a new competitive season on the go! As usual, at the end of a month of epic battles across a war-torn Galaxy, the stats are in. It’s time to look at the numbers from last month’s ranked season and check how the rankings in High Terra (rating 3800+) and Low Terra (rating 2500-3800) have evolved.
Nerat Kirine raids, pillages and threatens his way into the top spot in Low Terra, climbing from 6th and dislodging Sanguinius, the previous month’s champion, down to 2nd place. Cor’Bax Utterblight takes advantage of the situation to slam into 3rd spot, passing Santar who stays resilient in his 4th rank. Sigismund also climbs a few steps, climbing two rows from his previous season’s result.
Luther takes a step back but holds a strong 6th position, while Khârn cuts his way from 9th to 7th, holding off the rapid advance of Aloceri in 8th, who sped up from sub 50th following his ability change. The Night Haunter remains in the top 10 at 9th spot, with Raum climbing from 13th to round out the 10th position. Notable mentions this month to go the Lord of the First, Lion El’Jonson, who commands his way to 13th after the Dark Angel balance patch. Lastly, the Callidus Assassin infiltrates into the top 20 with an impressive 58% win rate!

A former champion returns to claim the top spot this month, with Khârn butchering from 4th to 1st, dislodging Amit in brutal fashion down to a sub-50th position. Sigismund, donning the black armour of the Emperor’s Champion, eagerly pursues Khârn, up to 2nd from 6th. Kirine grabs the 3rd spot, entering the top 5, alongside Raum returning to challenge the top spots in 4th. Santar also makes a return, rounding off the 5th position.
Cor’Bax poisons his way to 6th from 15th position this month. Sergeant Cork barrels his way from 12th to 7th, with Nuntio Dolores slamming back into the top 10 at 8th, up from 31st last month. Ka’Bandha also continues his rise to power, from 14th to 9th, with Nomus Rhy’tan falling from 5th to 10th, rounding out the top 10. Shout-outs this month deserve to go to Saul Niborran, who after his balance patch, soars up dozens of rankings to 11th, with the Callidus Assassin sharing their success in Low Terra, clinching a 57% win rate at 17th position.

2023 has begun, and January certainly didn’t disappoint, with several big moves from former winners of the meta report, and new faces also making their presence known. The Shadow of the Warmaster approaches, with the Sons of Horus preparing to make planetfall and make the will of the Horus known once more. Will February be the month of the Warmaster? Make sure to stay up to date on the upcoming expansion!
